Welcome to the Amiga friendly startpage!

This tiny website is made completly without any unnecessary bloat: no cookies, no JavaScript, no tracking, no responsivity, no CSS, no ads. F... all that! And SSL only if you want it. Thanks to web1.0hosting.net!

The site was created to provide a fast and simple startpage for IBrowse on non-high-end Amigas. It's meant to be a friendly “Hi! Here, the internet is still accessible for your Amiga - enjoy your stay!”

I work as a web developer, and there are many cool technologies out there that make today's internet look and feel pretty awesome. But sometimes, I miss the simplicity of the old internet. And I hate tracking and ads!

There's nothing worse than tracking and advertising being forced into a finished product. Seriously, I hate it!

I also believe that certain information, such as news, should be accessible to even the most low-end devices as far as possible. Today, we don't talk about how many devices we throw away because certain very simple things no longer work on them that used to be possible on significantly less powerful hardware.

Compared to today's capabilities, NASA flew into space back then with the power of a pocket calculator. I know the comparison isn't quite right, but I hope you know what I mean.

HA, HA! And after years, I'm using tables again for layout purposes! It doesn't feel right, and yet somehow it does.
